  1. I share your opinion of Parker, I'd rather the Cubs go offense be it Wieters, Vitters or Moustakas. qft
  2. If the Marlins can take 3 of 4 in ATL then so can the Cobs.
  3. Lou MIGHT move Sori to the 3 or 4 spots.
  4. Oh My God... I agree with Roast.
  5. No! I'd be totally sucked back in.
  6. Possibly the first ever appearance of Sean in the majors!
  7. to temper your excitement - jim hendry will be the one trading him. As much as Hendry does suck, has he ever really sucked with a trade involving major people with the exception of dumping Maddux for Izzy? I mean I definitely think hes a bad gm but he's usually pulled off awesome trades, for example Lee for Choi, the Aramis/Lofton for peanuts, Nomar (at the time at least). I don't see why it would be dumb to think that he could haul in good value for Carlos.
  8. Kid is awesome, might have to order a Pie jersey-shirt before the summer is up.
  9. Felix didn't play that too well....
  10. Thats what you're supposed to do after giving up runs Z.
  11. Carlos looked surprisingly calm.
  12. No shame in being beaten by Fielder this season.
  13. Strained left knee, getting tests tomorrow.
  14. Has Carlos looked better in terms of how hes throwing the ball? (regardless of score, I know he has put up decent #s at times while still throwing awkwardly).
  15. How did he look? Still throwing weird?
  16. I still love Z most of the time. He's just so damn entertaining. He needs to not suck though.
  17. To be truthful, I really just expect it to be one of Gooz, Marmol, Ohman, or Marshall getting sent down for some random reason.
  18. Sweet! Here's hoping he keeps a spot in it! I wish him the best of luck, and am excited to see him pitch, but to me this is a short-sighted move. His future is as a starter, and he's never pitched out o f the pen. Plus his peripherals were good but not great so far this year. I'd have much preferred that he be sent to Iowa to start... this is no criticism of Sean or his abilities, but what I think would be best for his future as a Cub. I agree with you that he should definitely be given a chance as a starter. I'm just freaking thrilled one of my favorite minor leagues got called up, I love seeing MLB debuts.
