Coming from the American to National league, I wouldn't be suprised if Lilly had a very good season. A valid point. I thought he might have a nice season because of this. But this is beyond my most optimistic hopes. Of course, he hasn't really pitched an 80 degree day with the wind blowing out at Wrigley yet. The good news is Lilly has worked in a sinker and is getting a lot more groundballs as a result. For that matter, Rich Hill has only 6 more AO than GO. -

Has he had a good one since ST ended? lol, I'm just mad because he needed to be hitting to the right side. Wasn't there 1 out? Who cares what side he hits it to. Hitters should always be looking to advance the runner. There's no guarantee Blanco can score from 2B on a single... You can't predict the future, Lilly might have singled. It was a bad at bat by Izturis! wrong. hitters should always be looking to hit the ball hard. whether that means pulling an inside pitch or going the other way with an outside pitch. this "advancing runners" thing is no good. I disagree for a light hitter like Izturis. He isn't going to get many hits period so he needs to be better at moving guys along.

You can when looking at Lilly's offensive history. That doesn't matter. There could have been a WP. The bottom line is Izturiz didn't advance the runner to 3B.
