  1. Rammy INF single edit: another error on Hardy
  2. I believe 9 consecutive hits is the Cubs record (Sammy).
  3. 95mph on FSN WI (I can see it on MLB.TV).
  4. This isn't make or break either way.
  5. Get it done Z! Looking closer; Opponents hitting .277 versus Suppan
  6. I can see the Brewers recalibrating their in-house radar gun just to mess with Z. They can make it look like he's pitching in the high 80mph range.
  7. Awful game from start to finish. At least our offense is starting to heat up a little. Lilly was just off tonight. It was frustrating because they lost but I was encouraged by the game. Lilly was being sacrificed because the bullpen was short. It was painfully obvious that he didn't have it early in the game but the Cubs couldn't take him out. Meanwhile, the Brewers were never really comfortable in the game (even though it should have been a blowout victory for them). Ned Yost had doubts up until Floyd lined out.
  8. Um because no one should have WANTED him to? He's not good at that velocity. 93 is optimum for his sinking fastball. But he's young, and he wouldn't be the only one to react irrationally when he perceived his manhood as being challenged. Please stop saying he's young; He is a 26 years old veteran Major League pitcher who has been around for parts of 6 seasons. This guy is also married and a father of 3. There's no excuse for his boorish behavior. As far as throwing him under the bus is concerned, he's put himself there with his words and actions.
