  1. Gotta figure this is the last inning for both pitchers..both have PCs near 80...then it becomes a battle of the bullpens.
  2. Suppan retires Teixeira..onto the 6th
  3. And to think so many people wanted Lance Cormier out there tonight :)
  4. I think that's what it was last time. That's what I did for Reg. season tix anyway. It worked. Just a bit of a pain in the butt. What do you mean? What window do you have open multiple times and why would it be an advantage? You hit CTRL - N and it opens another browser window, Firefox, IE, whatever you are using. The random computer generator (or whatever its called) doesn't go by IP address so it just thinks "x" amount of people entered the room. Opening 20 windows is like adding 20 more people in line. But it also increases your chances of being picked. It works for me every time when regular season tickets were available. It worked for me when 2003 playoff tickets. Last row Upper deck (row 9 I believe), aisle 504, seats 1 & 2, game 1. Best game I ever went to. Bonus that I only paid $35 a ticket for them. How many windows do you advise opening and how do you know when you've actually gotten through? Do you have to open up each and every window to keep checking?
  5. Since the night when he and Eyre imploded against Colorado in the 9th, things have been completely different for Howry. The 2nd half stats back that up tremendously. He's certainly one of our most valuable commodities right now. That said, I just don't have a ton of trust in him in a tie or 1 run game...based solely on his propensity to give up the long ball. The solo shot to Stephen Drew that was the game winner for AZ...the 2 run HR for Josh Hamilton that broke a 9-9 tie against Cincy...the solo shot by Kemp that brought the Dodgers to within 1 in the Dempster meltdown game...I know pitchers give up homers in critical spots..but I always get the feeling whenever Howry's on the mound that we're just one pitch away from losing the game.
  6. I have no problem with it at all. As long as we wouldn't have to face Gallardo, I would feel very confident in our chances to win. That said, I'd much rather not have to deal with a 1 game playoff
  7. -Chicago Sun-Times It was in the game thread last night...at least that he was sick...didn't know the severity of it though
  8. That wouldn't suck
  9. I too like the Braves chances in this series...as long as Smoltz and Hudson actually pitch. Does anyone know if Smoltz or Hudson's wives are expecting?
  10. You can feel bad for them after we clinch :)
  11. Guaranteed to be in sole possession of first through tomorrow night...Go Braves tomorrow!
  12. Hasn't Oswalt's wife given birth yet? Can't he show up and be the hero?
  13. Does it matter? Did you see who the Astros have coming up? The Brewers could have a pitching machine throwing balls and the Astros still couldn't score a run this inning. LOL
  14. Plz be the Weeks of the first half of the season
