  1. I guess BA and undeveloped power is all it takes today for a good comp. Vitters is how old? Vitters has a natural swing for power and hasn't added bulk yet, which his frame is more than capable of carrying. Murton has had the bulk, but not the swing. Big difference, especially when considering the odds of reaching a ceiling.
  2. Hmm, Callis thinks Vitters is the top position player in the draft. I'm not sure where you get the Matt Murton comp, b/c they're not remotely the same player.
  3. OBP is good b/c it helps you generate runs, but it's not the only way to generate runs. Soriano generates runs differently than your stereotypical leadoff hitter.
  4. Wieters isn't anything special if he can't stick at C, and he probably won't given his size. He's the only college hitter even worth a look with the #3 pick.
  5. That was a very nice AB after falling behind 0-2. GJ, DeRo!
  6. He chased 3 straight changeups. Good pitch, but come on. Good work, Murt.
  7. It is? Hill has been fantastic today, imo. He's also going to lose this game. You aren't fantastic when you walk the leadoff guy, bean the next, then give up a dong. Fantastic is what Marquis did las time. If this is bad Hill, I'm not complaining.
  8. Way to make him work, Pagan. Hamels PC has to be close to 70.
  9. Barrett is really struggling at the plate.
  10. Throwing it back? Way to steal a tradition, losers.
  11. Does anyone know Hill's pitch count? Thx in advance. :)
