  1. Any link?
  2. What the hell is wrong with you, Lilly?
  3. Damn it. I thought that was going to tie it up.
  4. Lilly should really pretend it's 2007.
  5. Beating Dusty Baker with a lot of walks would be the most delicious irony ever.
  6. Glad some people on these boards are rational. What up raw? Nice to see both Chicago clubs off to a good start. Ozzy Guillen will be fired by the ASB. The Sox are not a decent team. They are a mediocre to bad team who have gotten off to a decent start. They'll be sitting in 4th place by the end of the season. However, I really don't care what they do. I think Ozzie has a lifetime pass because of 2005.
  7. I can't be the only one that's noticed this... 23 strikeouts, 3 walks. Does Carlos finally have full command of his pitchers? I don't think he's ever had a stretch like his. Three walks in four starts? Anyone wanna check up on that?
  8. Z better be coming out of this game.
  9. That Ramirez hit was either going to be a home run or an out in his estimation. His estimation would have been right if Taguchi hadn't dropped the ball. He's not going to be sprinting around the bases for either of those outcomes.
  10. Except hit home runs and play average defense. Murton knows he needs to do this to play everyday in the bigs. Unfortunately he just can't. Wow, you're just knocking them out of the park left and right today. Seriously. First bringing up RBIs, now this?
  11. Pie has started off slow at every level. If he doesn't get a chance to hit major league pitching, he's never going to be able to show that he can. It's worth it to wait, even if it costs us a win or two in the early going. It will net us more later on to have Pie adjusted and playing like he can.
  12. Not to diverge from the topic at hand, but I've thought for a while that the White Sox will have a pretty solid team this year. The starting rotation is a huge question of course, but Buehrle and Vazquez are a really good 1-2 punch. If Danks continues to pitch well or even serviceably (as I expect him to), the rotation isn't terrible. Even though they shouldn't have poured so much money into it, the bullpen is significantly better. As far as the offense goes, you're going to probably get at least league average production out of every position except second base. For first base, center field, and shortstop you can reasonably expect to get production well above league average. Konerko, Swisher, Thome, and Dye are a pretty powerful group of hitters. Crede and Uribe could put up relatively high power numbers as well. I like how the team looks.
  13. Lou says Soriano will probably be out for " a while." Uh oh.
  14. God Wuertz is streaky. But still, why not bring in Howry here? It's still a big lead.
  15. Ick. I don't want a repeat of that Rockies comeback.
  16. Why would you not use Howry in this spot?
  17. Nice play, Fontenot. But the game is about to get tied up.
  18. That was the stupidest decision made all year.
  19. LOL I GET IT BECAUSE THEY BOTH PLAY THE OUTFIELD AND WERE BOTH HIGHLY TOUTED PROSPECTS LOL HAHAHA Yea and they are both AAAA players. Haha I've called you out on this before, but I'm going to do it again; that's a mind bogglingly terrible comparison. Pie was doing DuBois didn't even get to AAA till he was 25! And even then, he never put up the numbers Pie did.
  20. Soriano seriously got hurt doing his stupid hop?
  21. Just tuned in... what a poorly made lineup. Why have DeRosa in left field? Why Fontenot leading off? Why does Soriano need another day off. Questions, questions, questions.
