    Volstad is so good out of the stretch, I agree....... The Iowa pen. Yeah, ok, really doesn't change anything. I don't think it's legal to take him to the vet and have him put down. Send Volstad to AAA, bring up Wood who will at least be better. What am I missing? Volstad is not a reliever, at this point it would be nice if he was, hope he figures something out.

    I didn't know there was a person alive who hadn't bet on the Super Bowl that way. We've got complete non-sports fans doing this one, and half the sports bars put one up around the time the playoffs start and people start buying. The "touching" squares winning at the end of a quarter is lame. That should only happen once, at the final score. The "touching" works when the squares are expensive. One of my favorite Super Bowls was at a bar cheering with a friend, who I had split the squares with, for a diagonal or straight up win. It helped making money on both.

    Didn't it end with a disastrous interception? That was a TE misdirection screen, I'm thinking Hanie's not good at screen passes, which seems impossible for a QB.

    We'd still be losing 10-12... Better than 7-15, but I personally don't mind gambling on that play if the potential is 14-12 lead. That's my point. No you could be winning 14-12. Do you not think the Bears could manage to get 10 yards on 3-4 plays using conservative playcalling (aka running the ball or high percentage throws? Screen pass is a high percentage throw. I'm done with this conversation. Sorry, it's gone on too long. Nope.
