Marshall has been doing a pretty good Glendon Rusch imitation over his last 5 or so starts (other than that one good one against Houston). He doesn't eat a 6 pack of Twinkies between innings though.

I don't know what his stats were, but going off memory alone I think Mel Rojas would be tough to beat in the "worst pitcher" category. Rusch in 2006 has GOT to be worse. :?

These are a few of the worst Cub pitchers in recent memory. Who do you think is worse? I'd say it's a tie...every time either one of them pitches, you know that the Cubs are going to lose the game. At least Fassero wasn't fat.

He was placed on the 15 day DL with "back spams" today. *Back spasms is MLB code for "crappy pitcher." Sounds like the majority of our staff has "back spasms" This entire season can be described as one big, ugly, spasm. The question is, did the spasm ground out to second 4-6 or ground out to first unassisted? I think it hit a home run if it was against Rusch. :lol: -
Tribune stock is down just over 30% in the last 2 yrs while the S&P 500 has rallied app. 11% over the same period. Tribune stock recently hit a 5 year low as well.
