If Notre Dame struggles the Big East could be down to two teams in the Sweet Sixteen. And both of them would be because they were playing other Big East teams ... hahaha.
this is not surprising. in 2008 the highest seed they beat to get to the final four was an 8. bracket usually sets up well for them. and yet all I've heard all week is how they always get screwed and get the toughest region. yeah, how dare the committee schedule them to play a single digit seed before the elite eight! I brought up '08 and beating a 12 to get to the final four. One of the people I am in charge of came back with "we had all number ones in the final four." Yeah you usually play good teams there. Sorry. That's not a very good argument. Their hardest game by far on the way to the Final Four was the Stephen Curry led Davidson team.
Typical 1 seed start slow, close at half, then open 2nd half on 20-0 run and win by 30 like usual A 16 seed is bound to win one day. May as well be today. :D UK losing to Princeton would be so clutch. Probably won't happen though. I picked Princeton!
Clemson? Seeing as how WVU-Clemson was the first game, I think that's a pretty safe assumption. But, why on earth would ANYONE pick Clemson to the Sweet 16? Well, who would you pick for Clemson-Princeton?
