    Ya if/when Pittsburgh passes un in the standings then it is rock bottom but that might be what it takes to get rid of baker and hendry

    Take away that horrible outting in San Francisco, and his previous 4 starts have been nothing short of dominating. Honestly where would we be without him? It makes Hendry's offseason look even worse when you consider that nobody expected Marshall to make this team in the offseason. ya marshall would be a AAA I'm not saying that. Marshall has pitched well enough to be a Major League pitcher. In a way he has bailed Hendry (a little bit) out by coming out of nowhere in the offseason. I agree, I think he has been pitching great, but if wood and prior were not on the DL to start the year he would be down at AAA

    from reading the suntimes and trib today it seems like hendry is going to re-sign baker no matter what happens. I know and I take that as an insult to me as a Cubs fan. If it was my job and the company wasn't performing well and clients were unhappy, the last think I would be thinking about is saving face by continuing on the present course and refusing to admit a mistake. That's exactly what Hendry is doing. We have to stay the course. If we change our way of life then the Cardinals win. Baker must have some dirt on hendry or something
