It the Cubs are going to commit to Pie, then they need to trade either Jacque Jones or Matt Murton. With Pie in center and Alfonso Soriano in left, Jones, Murton and Cliff Floyd would all be battling for playing time in one spot and that's not going to work. It'd make quite a bit more sense to send Pie down until he proves he's ready, but since that's not going to happen, Ronny Cedeno's roster spot appears to be in serious jeopardy
