  1. No you aren't... 8-[ Nah, my girlfriend is a White Sox fan. :D Makes sense. Only a Cards fan or a Sox fan would be dumb enough to date one of you. :P Our children will be violent and smug. lmao I still hate you You still hate him? He probably doesn't care
  2. If he were a Cub, would you feel the same?
  3. Some of you would actually be happy to hear this? As a baseball fan, I hope no players (although I know this won't happen) ever get busted again. Especially a player like Pujols. I would say the same for a player like DLee. These type of players need to be clean, not only for their fans, but for Baseball as a sport.
  4. Does this mean the Bucs have a chance too? Only if Cuban buys them. 8)
  5. Me too, I saw that, then went and built a house. What's the best field to major in to become a construction worker? :D Not sure about that, but i'm sure there's money in it, especially in the San Diego region! 8)

  7. this division is wide open. STL is finally feeling what it's like to play at half strength. The Astros are awful right now. The Brewers are decent and the Buccos are not. So, that leaves Cincy, who I think will stick around all year. Even at 11.5 games back, you guys are not out of it, by any means. So, stick in there fellas!! http://www.lincolncollege.edu/normal/images/lcngrad04/Thumbs%20Up.JPG From a Cards fan.
  8. I was just talking about this with my buddy. No matter who they plug in they instanly become allstars. It's amazing. I'm a Cards fan and couldn't agree more with you guys. It does seem that a lot of players have great years when they play for the Cards. But, this year, as not with years past, it looks like injuries are going to play a part on how they succeed. Carp and Edmonds are now on the DL. One thing that did work for your team is Jacque Jones. Although he hasn't been great, he's been 10-fold better than Yawn Enc. So has my grandfather, and he's been dead for 9 months. Cubs win, 33-2 So is this guy... http://www.salford.gov.uk/older_man_and_pc.jpg

  10. He's still down in Jupiter doing extended spring training. He's still having problems cutting and stopping on his knee. They say it's still giving him problems doing baseball realted moves. So, I don't look for him to be on the radar anytime soon. Talk about a "hype" that got knocked back quick.
  11. Well, if JDE were trolling, we've made it a resounding success. For that I am eternally sorry. I should know better. It's real hard to have self-control when the Cubs are playing this bad. :-# :-# I really wasn't trying to troll. But, I do apologize for the post. Now that I look back, it could have been taken as a knock on the Cubbies. However, it was not. Pujols is a great player, not just for the Cards, but for the game. I want to add too, how much of a fan I am of Santo. I bought "This Old Cub" last year and can say that all Cub fans are blessed to have this guy represent your team. There isn't a better human being out there and there isn't a more deserving HOF either. I listen to him and Hughes every game and the intensity they bring is as good as it gets. You know, win or lose, Wrigley Field and the Cubs personifies baseball, along with the Cardinals, Red Sox, Yankees and White Sox. So, go STL, CHC, NY and BOS.
  12. You are correct sir! Well congratulations to us then. Isn't Albert GREAT?! Puts a smile on my face just saying the name. I know you also post on CardsTalk, correct? I post there frequently. Why don't you go back to Cardstalk and leave us alone to wollow in our misery. Mods please lock this thread and ban this guy. This is trollery (is that a word?) and its lowest. Seriously, this was not intended to be trollish. I have never even posted here before and am not trying to stir things up. In fact, I just saw the video this morning and thought it was nicely done. Not so much for who it was about, but for how it was pieced together. I will leave.

  15. It's like finding out after a root canal that you are being audited by the IRS after getting fired from your job. It's that much fun. That bad??
  16. Not sure how many of you have seen this, but a Cardinal fan created this and it's a nice piece of work. I'm sure most Cards fans have seen this but for Cub fans who may be interested, take a look. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSrsj35RJIU
  17. Vance, quick question. Are you anywhere close to Lake Charles? I have a friend who lives down there and will be there to visit him in June.
  18. They're stinking tonight. We're forced to watch Marquis serve pitches up in the zone.
