I'd love to know what scene Grobstein was causing. Apparently Telander's cell phone went off during the PC, and then later it was Grobstein and Telander arguing about the math...hilarious.

haha...Jay cracking up the media. They were trying to figure out how many passes Marshall would catch this year...Jay: "Not a bunch of math majors in here I see."

I like Jeffrey, but I dunno for a PPR league. Marshall is still gonna get the bulk of the receptions. What are your other alternatives?

I like to lurk the opponents message boards the week of each game. And not surprisingly, you have to sort through a lot of rubbish to get to good posts. There was some pretty level heads in that thread for the most part though.

I'm not gonna pretend that's not a factor, obviously it is. But things settle down after the first few possessions. Plus Cutler starting to hit some passes means they can't rush as hard. Freeney was no doubt a loss, but it's too simplistic to act that like was the sole reason.

I'm ok with the SB Champs getting a little extra love though, if everything else is more or less valid.

Hilarious that we get popped down for playing (and dominating) the team on our schedule. Makes sense. And the Redskins ahead of us, LOL. Lions and Eagles don't get punished for squeakers against bad teams though. In fact they even say "a win is a win" in regards to the Eagles.

Lovie just said if they were practicing today that Tillman wouldn't practice, but wouldn't say more than that. Said they're hopeful he'll be ok. Apparently he got kicked in the shin.

Not sure for Thurs. They said they're optimistic that it's not serious, but given the short turnaround he could miss Thurs.

I'm glad that's settled. Last year the 49er's defense ranked 2nd in PPG with 14.3 PPG, the Bears 14th @ 21.3 PPG. No major additions or subtractions for either team, so yeah, I'd say that's fairly accurate, especially with the question marks regarding Urlacher. http://footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamdef2011 Look at that schedule difference.

I wish it was a trend, but I don't think we can count on it continuing. Also was under 100 QB rating for 2 of his last 3 regular season games last year. Only games all season that were under 100. I don't think we can count on it, agreed. But I think there's definitely been a decline in his play. It's not massive, and he was playing at such a high level that a dip doesn't exactly mean he's playing like trash or anything. Just that I don't think he's as superhuman as he's appeared previously.
