  1. I have never watched an episode of Entourage, but sometimes I feel like I ought to so I can join in the internet hate.
  2. I didn't realize the Cubs could have as many 3:05 starts as they want. I wonder what the advantages/disadvantages of 3:05 starts compared to 1:20 starts would be?
  3. Dealing Bickell, Crawford is Blackhawks' best path out of salary cap hell
  4. Maybe clear cache and cookies on that one?
  5. No, Baffoe was tweeting old McCaskey quotes from when they signed him.
  6. For some reason it was inspired by this: http://screengrabber.deadspin.com/this-mike-trout-slide-is-just-ridiculous-1706442756 Rawdog is saving his good stuff for Deadspin comments now.

kind of embarrassed it didn't occur to me to write that first. Brenly and Len had a cool chemistry, but Bob meatballed the [expletive] out all the damn time. JD's analysis tends to be MUCH better, plus he and Len also get along just fine. Upgrades all around; go shave on your stupid mustache, Brenly. My wife as a huge fan of Len and Bob...and was quite upset when Bob left. As a result, she was not a fan of JD for quite a while, but she's really coming around on him this season.
  8. I mean, from a strictly football perspective, there wasn't any risk...it was zero money guaranteed.
  9. Can they really not find someone more hockey qualified than Kenny Albert for the B team?
  10. Or Bryant...to make room for Javy on the infield.
  11. Day off for Addison Russell. http://i.imgur.com/qMku90J.jpg
  12. http://www.bleachernation.com/2015/05/22/addison-russell-is-on-a-tear-in-his-last-21-games-homered-last-night-video/ That was written confusingly. I wish he'd said "excluding his first week". As written it sounds like Russell has only been up for a week. Hah, when I read it that was exactly what I thought and then figured I was doing a really poor job of keeping track of time if it's only been a week. And my second thought is "oh, he means a month", but the numbers didn't match up. Then I realized he was excluding that first week.

  14. Q said TVR is medically cleared. Won't play in Game 4, but could play in the series. Said Teuvo and Vermette "could play" in game 4, which means they likely will. Says Kruger wasn't hurt, but "should be better" in game 4....better than what? Who knows.
  15. But Cumiskey was healthy. TVR's recovery schedule didn't have him fully healed until June 2.
  16. Twitter consensus is that he won't play, but is just up here to practice.
  17. This has to be the most robotic complaint of all time. FOOLISH HOO-MONS DO NOT RECIPROCATE DESIGNATED RESPONSE APPROPRIATELY. http://i.imgur.com/AXHodFE.gif
  18. In regards to that "other stuff"
  19. I imagine he'll just revert to the Game 2 lineup, and try to make it seem as casual/inconsequential as he can.
  20. Speculation that Vermette is hurt but teravainen being out is bs.
  21. Since the Cubs have used 28 different batting orders in 39 games played so far, this is probably a pointless exercise. Fowler (1), Rizzo (3), Russell (9), pitcher spot (8) and now Bryant (2) have been pretty much set in stone, so it's still worthwhile to consider future lineup dynamics even though there's been constant rotation 5-7 and what would be changed by Baez's reinsertion into the lineup Rizzo and Bryant have moved around. Fowler and Russell, yes...although I wouldn't be shocked to see Russell move by the end of the season.

  23. I don't believe precipitation forecasts more than 48 hours out. Meteorologists don't know what they're talking about..... #TruffleBait
