I don't understand this need to trade away our good young players. SIgn FA starting pitching. Trade guys in the minors. Don't trade our big league guys. There is no one worth having in the 2016/2017 FA list and that's going to put a ton of pressure on them to add as many as 3 starters in 2017/2018FA Ok. Well we have our own FA pitchers we can re-sign. And I'm fine with pressure being on the FO to sign starters. Don't trade our big league position players.

So he's a young, cost effective, Alfonso Soriano. If we could finagle a young SP out of that (Rays, Indians, I'm looking in your direction,) I'd be all about it. I don't know what is worst about this post, but I'll start with IF he were a young cost effective Alfonso Soriano, this is something you'd be happy to move? (particularly for a [expletive] pitcher?) Yeah, if anything TT's post just makes me think we might all be breathing a sigh of relief in a next few years that we didn't trade him away.

Not really, these are almost like Iowa rehab appearances for him since he never formally went to the DL/rehabbed. There's kinks he has to work out I'm sure. Yeah. Still happening in a month...maybe I'll be concerned.
