  1. if anyone wants to relive this joke, they can do it at this link (Premium / Non-Premium) since it was done there first.
  2. edited topic to reflect that this is Tejeda, not Tejada.
  3. Or just hit ctrl + Is that the keyboard shortcut? I was too lazy to experiment to figure it out. Yes, it is. And ctrl - fixes things back. That's cool Yet another reason why Firefox = awesome Ctrl and scrolling on your mouse does the same thing in IE.
  4. What would you prefer the measuring stick for performance be? Isn't the goal of every GM to get to the World Series? 30 GM's failed at that last year. So Kenny Williams did a better job than every other GM last year? I just don't believe that. Why not? Did you think heading into the season that the White Sox were a championship caliber team? KW and Ozzie Guillen led this team out of a horrible end of season slump into a dominant postseason run. He sure did something right.

  6. He won't trade Garland and McCarthy. That would leave them thin in the pitching department. it's probably one or the other. Apparently the Sox have said that they won't have McCarthy pitching out of the pen, so that means something has to give...
  7. Yes, college football saturdays are over, but there will still be a hungry football audience ready to perk up the ratings. Ah...that makes sense....surprised they didn't have some Saturday games this past week then.
  8. Changing the topic a bit for a moment....is there a reason there's 3 Saturday games this week?
  9. What the hell is the point in meeting with the O's then? "Hey Baltimore, is Tejada available? Yes? Alright, welp see ya later." "Hey Baltimore, is Tejada available?" "We're not sure yet. We're deciding, but we'll keep you in mind if we decide to deal him." "Okey dokey."
  10. Well I guess we'll find out if you're right, because it doesn't look like Lovie is planning on a change this season if he's true to his words.
  11. Don't be surprised if we don't see Grossman in a game until '06. If the don't take the risk with Grossman, the Bears likely won't be winning a playoff game. See that's where the Grossman-Orton argument loses me. What determines whether we win a playoff game isn't gonna be the offense...it's gonna be the defense. If the defense is on, we'll win. If the defense is off, we'll lose.

  13. He forgot the / in the end bold code...I fixed it.
  14. Yep...he's trying to make nice. He doesn't want to be viewed as a troublemaker, and the O's probably said "We'll trade you, but we need you to help us do it."
  15. I'm done with this one...I'm gonna go run some errands...they don't need me watching to finish this crapfest.
  16. ssshhhhh! don't jinx it. Running play....coaching staff was thinking the same thing...heh.
  17. Man, why aren't you coach? :D
  18. If this game was close, I'd really be enjoying this weather.
  19. Minn is up big over STL now.
  20. What's Orton's QB rating now?? :P
