    Turns out it wasn't a punch...he grabbed the fan's shirt, and then let go demonstrably....but I don't think it was a punch. DK Metcalf fan punch video has alternative angle from Steelers - Lions EDIT: Apparently Metcalf had reported this fan to security during a Lions/Seahawks game last year already.

    Hmmm, Kyle Brandt said that he thought that Caleb throw was the most exciting single play from the Bears since the Hester return in the Super Bowl and I'm struggling to think of any play that would prove that statement wrong.

    Yeah sure I get that to an extent. But I mean, I'm driving 2.5 hours to go to a Cubs game. So I guess a 90 min or whatever it might be doesn't seem all that cumbersome to me. But I get that it's a change from what people are used to.

    As someone that drives up from central Illinois to go to all kinds of events in Chicago, I can't help but chuckle a bit at the idea that going from the NW Suburbs to NW Indiana is this terrible journey.

    Also apparently Illinois wants the Bears to still help pay off Soldier Field. This is from back in September: I think I read somewhere that the Bears have offered to pay $25mil toward that debt.
