Swain is 20. He’s far from a finished product and his shooting improved last season. It’s not a direct comparison, but as an Aggie I watched pretty much every game Alex Caruso played in college. Very few people, even delusional Aggies, thought he could play in the NBA and it was because of his shooting. He played all 4 years and still developed into a pretty good shooter despite this season being a down year for him.

From a good friend who’s a Sabres fan: “Byram had a great season, and playoff. Wants to be a #1 and the best he will be in Buffalo is 4. He’s a good player. Greenway is injury prone but when healthy he’s a physical players can score some goals and play PK.” Called Greenway a salary dump.

The Heat gave up their last 3 first round picks plus 3 future first round picks and Tyler Herro for Giannis and Bobby Portis. That seems excessive to me for someone on the wrong side of 30.

I found myself liking the Knicks team, especially Brunson, but goddamn the Knicks fans made me sorry they won. Holy horsefeathers, they’re animals.

Also, the Knicks 3 losses in the playoffs were by a combined total of 6 points. Pure insanity.

I learned this morning that Jalen Brunson went to HS in the Chicago Suburbs.

I asked some friends a week or so ago who was the best former Maverick, Luka or Brunson. Luka may be a better player but if I’m coaching a game for my life I’m taking Brunson.

The Knicks need to give Senator Rafael Cruz tickets to Game 5. That’s sure to end the series. He’s a well known jinx in Texas. Always shows up in gear of whatever Texas team is playing inevitably to watch them lose.
