    Well there are likely replacements who could hit higher than 72%, maybe even as well as league average (~84% on FG and 95% on PAT). You know who else probably will? Cody Parkey (84% and 95.8% career averages). The replacements would be able to do it at a much lower salary than Captain Upright.

    I swear I watched the first XP go through the uprights. Everyone in the house did. We were shocked to come back from commercial and see 6-0. They never showed a replay. I had no idea until now that he hit the upright on that kick, too. Was your sound down or were you distracted? It was pretty obvious he hit it watching live, but at the time I was the only person in the living room so maybe that made it easier to watch. We were busy singing Bear Down like we do after every TD. Lol.

    No, and by all accounts his job is not in jeopardy as Nagy said they would not be bringing in other kickers. I'm fine with it. It's not like he was shanking balls, he actually hit the upright, which is amazing. In all honesty, I think hitting the post should count extra. If you hit the post on a FG it should be a 4 point FG. Let's not pretend this was the first time he's had issues.
