  1. I have been trying to figure out what Derosa brings... no range, can't field unless hit right to him, can't lay down a bunt, can't hit and run, I call him a douple play just waiting to happen.
  2. I haven't completely stopped watching but I haven't made it through a whole game in 10 days. Here is what I would like to see happen: - Trade Aram. ARam can be a top 3rd baseman but his motivation is questionable. Can probably get some top quality prospects for him. - Make Jaquestrap Jones run laps til his balls fall off. We are stuck with him. - Keep Murton, Pierre and Cedeno. I have found new respect for Walker for his attitude on and off field since season began. But his trade value may be high and would move him for a quality player. - Get what you can for Prior/Wood/Maddux. A good GM could get quite alot for those 3 in different deals. A top 3B prospect would be a necessity. - Bring up Pie. - Get rid of Neifi and Hairston, try some kids with some hustle. (sorry not as up on the farm system as I should be. - Try Barrett at 3B because he can't catch, throw or call a game. I wouldn't mind losing if we were hustling / trying / developing. This overpaid bunch of Losers has me clicking to the Sox more often than I want to.

  4. Group 1 - Alex Rodriguez Group 2 - Adam Dunn, Albert Pujols Group 3 - Pat Burrell, Lance Berkman, Vernon Wells, Group 4 - Joe Crede, Chipper Jones, Michael Young, Jhonny Peralta wildcard - Prince Fielder
  5. My favorite... Bases loaded, two outs, ninth inning, Cubs up one. Harry - "Doesn't anyone pop up anymore?" Batter (i forget who) pops up Harry "They do, they do...Cubs Win, Cubs Win." I still use the "Doesn't anybody pop up anymore" line.
  6. Here is how I look at the Cubs depending on my mood. Positive Younger, quicker, better defensively, better "baseball-smart" team, and pitching staff dominanting (consistent late inning bullpen, healthy Prior, Wood, Z and Maddux having a last hurrah. Hill / Guzman contributing) help team win alot of 5-3, 3-1 games. Negatives Big question mark at SS (rookie), LF (rookie), 2B (no D), RF ( 3 straight declining years). C defensively is suspect. Fragile pitching staff. is ARam motivated?, Will Dempster turn into a Borowski / Kolb?
