    urlacher gets a penalty for flexing his arms? As I have said hundreds of times, being a ref is the easiest job in the fing world. You can do a horrible horrible job and still nothing happens. These guys have to be held responsible for their calls once in a while.

    It was pretty funny when the guys on ABC were talking about the recruiting implications if UCLA won. As though the top recruits from across the country are suddenly going to spurn USC for UCLA.

    The thing is, everything Benson said is true. I really hope the bears don't screw this up somehow and he ends up leaving Chicago.

    I love how the Cowboys are suddenly better than the bears. Romo is doing exactly what Grossman did at the beginning of the year, except he plays for Dallas so he is obv. for real! :roll: Can't wait for them to crash and burn in their first playoff game (or maybe crash and burn down the stretch).

    Which is funny since it took the officials' help to get Bettis a superbowl last year. Seattle won that game.

    Is it possible for the patriots to ever get called for holding? At least they started calling them on their pass interference nonsense that they pull about 10 times a game.

    So I take it you didn't think much of Matt Leinart coming out of USC either, right? Leinart actually won a Heisman and won most of the big games he played in. Quinn can pad his stats against Army and Stanford, but he hasn't won a big game in his career I don't think.

    I agree the media's love for ND is sickening. Weis makes so many bad calls during a game, hopefully he can recruit (although there is no way he can match USC recruiting)

    Why put ND in another BCS game? They haven't beaten a good team in sooo long.

    The sorioano deal isn't bad if you compare what other players are getting this offseason. Prices are high. You can't just lok at something totally out of context and judge it that way.
