Yeah he's a classic stay-at-home defenseman. Many have great careers doing it but will never win awards because they don't score. Scott Stevens and Scott Neidermeyer have both won the Conn Smythe award in the last 15 yrs or so. I don't think neither was a classic stay at home dman, but they were not offensive minded dmen either. I think both were considered the best dmen on their teams though, not the case with Hjalmarsson Right, and that ties in with the Hossa discussion. This team is just stacked.
