Agreed. I'd be up for doing it again, but I'll be out of town this weekend. Same here...the company was good...the game, not so much. I'm watching from my in-laws basement tonight...hoping the location change will change the result....maybe we could do it again for game 4 or 5? Assuming there are Games 4 or 5, I'd be good with that. Also watching from home tonight....

If they lose this game I'm going to cry. I actually feel pretty optimistic about things if they can win tonight. The back of our rotation is better than theirs. -
Or the bats? Demp gave up a handful, but it didn't matter. It wasn't reasonable to expect the pitchers to give up two runs or less.

Well, Khabi cleared waivers. Sens were thought to be interested, but their GM basically didn't deny their interest but stated that they only have $3M in cap space. Perhaps that sets up a trade possibility. But I have no idea what eating salary might do to the Hawks' cap situation. -
Pairs are going to be much tougher to reserve than a single, which is hard enough. It looks like the opportunity may have passed for now, though. UMFan, are you sure? I thought it was email Thursday and on-sale on Friday. I'm an idiot, I thought today WAS Thursday :oops: Did we win last night? :wink:

I thought we were going to be notified tomorrow. Now that I go to the website, it's changed and the chronology of deadlines and such isn't there anymore.

I grew up there and then moved away. I don't think I'm any better than lifelong out-of-towners. I do sort of look at Dolphins and Cowboys fans who have never lived there (or had parents who did) as odd. Like they were just frontrunners when those teams were good. But there hasn't been much of an opportunity in the television era for Cubs fans to be frontrunners, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I'll go under on that, but not by much. I'm going to be out watching the game so I won't be part of the playoff game thread madness. Hopefully I'll want to come back and read it tomorrow.

Bears aren't on here in St. Louis. Instead the FOX affiliate, in their brilliance, is showing SEA/NYG. The only thing I can figure is that SEA is in the Rams' division. Because, you know, the Rams will be challenging for the division. Stupid.

I'll be there, and may be bringing 3-4 other Cubs fans. But we'll see. I work right next to Highlander and I think a few of them are gonna go there.
