And it just got worse. I'm still pissed about that instigator call on Eager. There would have been no altercation at all, NOTHING, if Murray hadn't come in and cross-checked Eager.

Oh, for Christ's sake. This is criminal. Eager was standing in front of the net after a save. Murray came up and jabbed him hard. Then drop 'em and fight, and Eager gets the instigator? NHL officiating is a [expletive] joke. EDIT: And 30 seconds later it's 2-1 Sharks. That one's on the zebras. EDIT 2x: And now Huet decided to suck again. [expletive] [expletive].

It's odd to be playing teams with skill players as good as our skill players. Heatley is incredible. But that was a bad giveaway by Keith.

Tonight will be a good test. San Jose beat the Blues here last night. Hopefully they'll be a little slow out there. Would absolutely love two more points before the trip. Right now they've played 12 home games and 6 road games. About to even out.

Great job holding off after they went to sleep. Not that I blame them with how bad the Leafs were playing for awhile there. A win on Sunday night would be huge before heading off on the circus trip.

Eager deserved his, but Beauchemin should've gone off too for giving Huet a jab to the head. I guess they just couldn't give a roughing call to a guy named Francois.
