A few thoughts there: The unabashed homerism was a little annoying I was surprised to learn that Hammer/Oduya was the top D pairing Later, they seemed surprised that Hammer/Oduya were playing better than Keith/ Seabrook I was also surprised to learn that Leddy had a great playoffs They hardly mentioned Saad's name even though he was the best player on the ice most of the game. on the other hand The stat graphics were great. coaches corner was unintentionally hilarious As for the homerism, it's basically a home call when it's a Canadian team against a US team. And I only noticed it a few times from the color guy. What he said about Hammer and Oduya was that they were the top "shutdown" D pair. It made me think for a second. What he was saying was they are the D pair that stay home, rather than 2 and 7 trying to get into the play more. And I don't know how it was when it started, but at this point there's nothing unintentional about Coach's Corner.
