You seem to be on to something. Barrett also picked on one of the smallest Astros (Oswalt) last year. You mean after he took a fastball to the ribs? I wouldn't call that "picking on".

We lost him the first time because Wood refused to go on the DL and we had to try and outright him to the minors for a roster spot...and at the same time, lost him and Gary Matthews, Jr. And if I remember correctly Wood still ended up going to the DL.
