  1. A little part of me died inside when he started talking about "talent players" v. "effort players" I was a little disappointed when i saw the ESPN had blacked out the game in my area. Then i saw who was announcing. Talk about luck.
  2. I'm really just waiting for Ned to use some hunting analogies and his dustification will be complete.
  3. For obvious reasons, i'm hoping for the brewers to steal one of the first two, and win both of CC and Ben's starts. Of course, knowing the cardinals, they will lose the first two, then destroy the "aces" of the brewers rotation. That being said, there is really no way you guys don't gain ground here, especially when looking at who you are facing pitching-wise.
  4. I disagree. He loves playing for the Cubs, so I think he'd accept a reasonable contract. If Hendry wants him back he'll be back; Hendry always succeeds in re-signing the players he wants back. I think it's possible, but if the cubs offer 10 million a year(over let's say 3 years), and another team offers 13-15 million over 4, i think he will most likely go to the other team. I imagine this is his last "big" contract chance(he's 31 IIRC), and he will want to make the most of it.
  5. Thank you, i have been a longtime lurker here and thought i would finally start posting. Oh, and don't worry, i won't be a problem here. I'm not the kind of fan who only comes here and spouts off my thoughts on my team only(or only comes around when they win).
  6. Yea, no way should you take Bush off the rotation at all. It's just a silly move. The fact that Suppan is viewed as a gritty vet, and Bush is a platoon guy confuses the heck out of me. Soup is by far the worse pitcher this year, yet continues to be given a free pass by yost. I can't wait to get that guy out of milwaukee.
