  1. I did before and kept getting just the one sound clip over and over. (bottom of the 8th, 7-4 Jaxx, 2-0 on Loney) What else is new? :P Hey, I resemble that remark!
  2. me too :( Hi PJ!!! Sad we talk this way, with an interrupted broadcast What happened to the quote? Looks like I'm talking to myself now

  4. Thanks for taking the time to chat with us. I was wondering, since you were a 3-sport star in high school, did you always know it was baseball you wanted to pursue professionally? Did you ever seriously consider another sport? How was the scouting/drafting process to go through? Did you have a pretty good idea the Cubs were going to select you? What kind of contact did you have with the scouts before the draft? How smoothly did the contract negotiations go? PJ
  5. Careful woman, that is Rickey to whom you're referring! I'm guessing Jim can find his way to Peoria witout my guidance. Never mind his lack of headroom in the L-mobile :D Thanks Nathan. Some great information. Looks more and more likely.
  6. No country music? Where's the fun in that?
  7. I am living in southern California (about 60 minutes north of LA) and recently attended my first games at Wrigley Field. Outstanding! I am considering flying that way again in a couple of weeks and attending my first Peoria Chiefs game. What I am hoping for are recommendations for a first-timer at O'Brien Field and a first-time visitor to Peoria. Places to stay, transportation, things to see, etc. I have some folks filling me in on the team and players to watch, just looking for a little help on the visiting Peoria aspect of the trip. Thanks PJ
