  1. I agree. I used to wear my socks up in high school, but then changed senior year to pants down to the shoes.
  2. Team fouls: Missouri 10 Nebraska 2. Typical.
  3. Will they ever start this damn game?
  4. Big win for the Bulls. Hopefully its the start of a run for them. They need it.
  5. Chris Duhon has been absolutely awful tonight.
  6. What the hell is Duhon doing out there. I wasn't aware the offense was now focused around him. Anyways, Bulls lead by 12 at the half at Clevelend. I hope they hold on.
  7. Booyah! Huge win for the Tigers tonight. Mizzou with a very faint heartbeat for the tourney right now, which if you woulda told me after the kU game, I would have called you crazy. Its nice to have a team thats competitive and winning games, as opposed to the crapfest Mizzou has given us the last three years.
  8. is that a ripoff of the "I-L-L!" chant? i don't know for sure who started it so i could be wrong. From what I remember, both schools claim that they started it first, I don't think anyone really knows. Everything I've heard says Mizzou started it, and Illinois stole it and tried to claim it as their own. they probably won it from them. Well it's mainly our football chant, so I don't see how they could've won it. weren't you doing the chant in this thread (labeled basketball, i believe)? He is, but for the most part its never really chanted at basketball games, only at football games when Mizzou scores points.
  9. Im still sad about the Bears.
  10. I'm expecting down 3, Baylor heaves a 3/4 court shot at the buzzer, drains it, and somehow gets a phantom foul call, hits the free throw and wins. I won't be there though, I have two tests and a speech on Thursday. Yeah I won't be going either. Got a big test on Thursday. Hopefully Mizzou can somehow get six wins in conference. Not that it would mean anything but it would be nice.
  11. I would be willing to bet that, at the start of the road trip, not too many people had the Bulls losing to the Kings and Warriors while beating the Suns. Yeah for real. What a crazy road trip.
  12. Go Mizzou! Beat kU!
  13. since alvarez took over, they've been recruiting kids that fit their system. they realize they probably won't get a lot of gulf kids or california kids to fill skill positions so they get the big road-graders up front and base their team on size and strength. doing this probably won't allow them to compete with the faster SEC schools for the national championship year in and year out, but it will allow them to compete for the Big Ten title perrenially. That's a great point and it's worked out very good for them.
  14. Interesting. I like it. The Bears didn't sit on their 15 win, SB runner up season, and got rid of the coaches for the 2 most inconsistent units. I like it too, although I dont know much of either.
  15. Oy. I really worry that Tyrus is one of those guys who needs more of a hands-off approach rather than a kick in the pants approach. This isn't going to help his cause over the rest of the season, either. Eh I have no problem with this. Kinda made me laugh actually.
  16. Benson didn't fumble, he was destroyed. No doubt about it. It was a great hit by the Colts defender to knock the ball loose. If only he somehow could have held on, things could have been different.
  17. This has probably been said but I just realized it looking at the play by play. The turning point for me had to be when the Bears were up 14-6 and had the ball at their own 48 yard line and Benson fumbled. That was huge. Devastating.
  18. That is pretty cool. God, the party I was at went absolutely nuts after that. Too bad it was all downhill from there. :( Yeah the bar I was at was justa madhouse after that. Actually we had three Colts fans (two girls one guy) who decided to show up to a bar in Chicago and be very obnoxious. Now, if I was in Indy for this game, I sure as hell wouldn't have gone to a bar with all Colts fans and been screaming obnoxiously. I was pretty pissed about that. Eventually security made them leave, probably for their own protection, because there was lots of angry Bears fans who started yelling at them. Apparently many people were recording themselves at bars or at a house party to start off the game. Tons of video on their reactions of the touchdown on YouTube. They're all awesome to watch too. This sucks. I wish they won.
  19. I asked this yesterday but didn't get much of a reply. I was at a bar so I couldn't hear the sound, but was it really like 80/20 Bears fans to Colts fans at the game? That's what some guy who got back from the game said while being interviewed.

  21. Theres some pretty sweet videos of Hester's return on youtube. About the only thing I care to watch from that game.
  22. Ewww he does. Never seen the kid before. I just know that he was the no.3 rated QB in the country coming out of high school. Ole Miss hasn't had a QB since Manning worth a damn. Is Brent Schaeffer (spelling?) gonna be a senior next year?
  23. Man this sucks. I miss the Bears already.
  24. This sucks. 216 more days (I think) until the Bears play another regular season game. Way too long.
  25. What ended up being the guesses for crowd support for each team? Some guy said it was 80% Bears fans. Too high? Too low?
