    Oh no. Maybe the bats will keep up their good hitting. This will be quite the test for the Cubs and Zambrano. Hopefully Z returns to his May and June form of an era under 2.

    I got the same feeling. I think he geniunely loves Chicago and the Cubs fans. I think he might have th efeeling of leeting the fans down big time. I hope he gets 100% healthy before he even decides to throw competitively again. Hopefully Hendry gives him a fair deal and Wood comes back to be the pitcher we all believe he can be.

    Good article. I agree big time with the author that Grossman is gonna break out this year. He just seems to have a prescence that inspires confidence from everyone on the team.

    He's been eating his Wheaties. :) I really hope I see him hit one more home run this year. I didnt see him hit his other, I only saw the replay. I'd imagine people had the same reaction as to when Paul Bako hit his only home run with the Cubs in 2004. juan pierre's lone cub home run: June 28th, 2006. my birthday, and my first cubs game. 8) at first i just thought i'd missed his at bat and walker had hit it. I was working and heard the update on the radio. The guy said it twice just so all the listeners heard correctly.
