Shea Stadium is indeed a dump. I went there 2 weeks ago for my first game and I would put it right behind Veterans Stadium as the worst baseball stadium I've been to. Beer is $7.50, I believe, which is acceptable for NY but the concessions are beyond pathetic. Had to walk around half the stadium to find something other a hot dog at a concession stand.....and I finally found a place with really good sausage and peppers. There was a place serving Sbarro pizza but I didn't find it while walking around. And even though the Mets were playing the Braves, I must have heard "Yankees suck" chant about a dozen times. :roll:
