that oregon/colorado spread of 20.5 and +650 on the ML is kind of insane
it would be completely normal for oregon to lose to a less talented team in a huge spot not even factoring in the buffs probably have the best player on the field and he's the QB
no qb whose processing is hopelessly flawed is going to survive as a starter--but even if it were true that coaches can't help make processing/reading defenses better (i don't really believe that) there's no reason to absolve them of it especially when the rest of the team is crap
did poles really hire flus though? he was hired like two days after poles was hired and yeah I’m sure it came up during poles interview process but it seems like it was foisted on him
would anyone who grew up in and around the reid/mahomes chiefs be like “yeah gotta get a defensive guy to coach my team and young qb”
I always felt poles went along with flus because there are only so many GM jobs and he was given assurances of getting a chance to get his own qb/hc combo if the fields/eberflus thing didn’t work out
the lions OC has turned Goff from a pumpkin back into Cinderella
a real franchise would be able to sell the next hot young offensive mind with a chance to draft the qb of his choosing in Chicago pretty gd easily
I want the wheels to completely come off but not so early where you have to start fire selling assets putting us further behind the eight ball next year
poles will get a chance to pick his new qb but the chances of eberflus being the coach still are virtually nil
maybe if we muddle to a respectable record off defense but our defense is trash
brisker out with an illness that you have to assume is heat related
good to know this staff is on top of the details like drink water in September Florida games
