    I love when sports leagues change their stripes and they need years to phase it in. The end of the European theatre of WWII was 11 months after D-Day but adding Nebraska to the Big Ten and adding two more wildcard teams in a similar time frame is just a bridge too far.

    Didn't look that way when Marshall picked up a 15 yard penalty for taunting Cutler. I figured it was a buddies breaking each others balls kinda thing. Also, lol @ sulley's comments about the refs having to let us ravish their daughters for a terrible holding call.

    37-12 for the Spurs in the 3rd. They've been on a sustained run for like a third of the game. That's where you'd like Boozer to dump the ball into and get some offense. Rose is giving the ball up in the free throw line area too much or settling for the floater, not sure where the off ball action is off that penetration.

    OMG Cristiana had an amazing run, hit a perfect chip and Nani like a moron headed it in from an offsides position when it was millimeters from crossing the line. Ronaldo flipped out.

    I'm just wondering when Perkins and Baby became these unstoppable beasts in the paint. Boston is the epitome of a jumpshooting team, a very good one no doubt but even their big guys outside of O'Neal are face up scorers or strictly defense and rebounding. Plus the timetable on Perkins is still uncertain.

    The Colts put Jennings on Marshall most of the day last year. Marshall had 21 catches for 200 yards and 2 TD's. Who wouldn't when you've got Neckbeard throwing you the ball?

    Here's GB's schedule: @ Minnesota @ Atlanta vs. San Francisco @ Detroit @ New England vs. NY Giants vs. Chicago That's 4 road games in the next 5 weeks. Luckily they get @ Minnesota while they still have something to play for. If Minny wins, great, if they lose they'll be in surrender mode for the rest of the season and the bad blood will be through the roof before we play them. Playing in Atlanta is great for the Bears, the Falcons don't lose at home.

    The question is whether we have to win the North to make the playoffs. Glancing at the schedules of the teams in the South and the East it kind of looks that way. It'll be hard to knock Philly, NYG, Atlanta, or NO out of the wild card spots. Even Tampa Bay's schedule is pretty easy from here on out.

    Idonije's been nice and the rotation at DT has been pretty stout against the run but we're still not generating much of a pass rush. I wonder if Marinelli has Peppers more focused on stopping the run instead of purely going after the QB because he's been spectacular at that so far.

    I wish Peppers would have more sacks but I'm usually pretty pleased with his performance right after the games finish, including the Minnesota game.

    Is that not because they are by far the smallest school, and therefore have the smallest group of alumni by default? I'd be willing to guess a larger portion of NU alumni end up on the coasts w/r/t the other Big Ten schools as well. Buncha coastal media elites from Northwestern.
