I'm fully expecting LSU to get back in the title picture with Oregon and Auburn losing next week.

I'd flip out on a millionaire NFL kicker missing two sub 30 yard FGs like that. I remember Chris [expletive] Boniol missing a kick like that in OT against the Vikings back in the Jim Miller days and I wanted to kill him. But a college kicker doing that when even so many good programs have spotty field goal kicking is an entirely different matter.

I don't think anyone can deny that Boise State is very capable of getting up for any individual game against basically any opponent. The idea that they have it easier because they don't have to go through the physical grind of playing quality opponents with real good athletes almost every week still holds water though.

oregon barely beat cal, which got blown out by nevada. yet this game is evidence that boise is nowhere near the best team in the country. right. Oregon has to play more than 3 real teams this year though. that's nice. boise is #2 in the sagarin predictor. they're #4 in the sagarin ratings. they won "at" virginia tech, which is running the table in the acc. they've beaten major conference teams before. yet some of you act like they should just go play in the corner. it's such a joke. Ohhhh running the table in the ACC! Va Tech does that every year. Lose their tough OOC game in the beginning, play 3 months of unwatchable football against the ACC, and go to a BCS game no one will care about. Boise's schedule was pretty decent as far as their schedule usually is but it wasn't anywhere near Oregon's, despite Flames specious claims about playing bowl eligible teams.

Out of the 6 games after the circus trip 4 are against Orlando, Boston, OKC, and the Lakers. After that stretch we have a nice, soft schedule for a long time. Kinda sucks that even if Boozer is back for some of those games he'll still be getting worked in.

Completely unacceptable to put in an ice cold Lucas (who stinks to begin with) for that possession. ugh. That would've been a great win to steal.

The SG situation is a legit mess though. Bogans is playing himself out of the rotation but I don't really like Brewer starting either and would prefer Korver to support the 2nd unit and help close out games as match ups dictate.

Noah had stretches of defense guarding Nash out on the perimeter that were just unbelievable.

All right I've got my fill of moral victories and gut checks until at least the All Star break. Some comfortable Ws would be nice.

As many high shot totals Rose has had this year this is the first one where I think he went a little too far in the Iversonian direction. Maybe we just can't run sets in double OT on a back to back without Boozer and Taj.
