    Somebody during the Indiana series, I think it was Korver, said Thibs had installed like 150 new plays recently and that he'd hate to scout us because of all the different looks. Either Korver is lying his ass off to set a smoke screen or something is getting lost between the games and practice.

    And there has to be a better way to get Korver looks than running him off of multiple screens so he can shoot contested 18 footers. We never, ever go inside out by pounding it down low and punishing double teams by getting it to open shooters.

    He blew some chippies (for him) that he normally makes. Not like he was jacking up a bunch of threes. I honestly thought he was throttling it back on three pointers that he normally would've taken to press the drive.

    You seriously believe that? When Rose's FG% for the postseason gets within 6% of any of those guys, let me know. When Rose has a second option in the same universe as Lebron (for DWade), Wade (for Lebron), or Russell Westbrook I'll entertain the idea that comparing FG%, a pretty bad stat to begin with, is a good platform for comparison.

    The Bulls have been an extremely good win-ugly type of team. Everyone that follows the team knows this. It's rare that a team that wins as much as the Bulls did this year isn't solidly in the top 10 in both defensive and offensive efficiency. They just hang their hats on defense and rebounding their asses off and the offense is of the JV quality let's just let Rose do everything because we don't have any better ideas. When you put so much on one player to generate scoring it does allow the rest of your guys to focus all their energy on defense and rebounding. So there's that silver lining. It also looks downright putrid on offense at times. And it's also the reason why any apples to apples comparison between Rose and other stars (especially the young PGs) is pretty much completely off the mark.

    Rose is playing decently overall. He's not distancing himself from the pack or anything but is solidly with Durant, Lebron, Wade, etc. Yeah, he's shooting a lot but he's still been effective to downright amazing at times and sprinkled in with some bad...kinda like Kobe, Lebron, and most every other star does in the playoffs. Dirk is the one that's separating himself from his peers and ZBo is making a push to be put in the same breath as these guys.

    OMG A BAD GAME AND A BAD 3 QUARTERS rose is having a bad POSTSEASON. it's funny how i knew exactly what you'd be saying about rose's performance tonight before i even went back and read through the thread. you seriously have to be the biggest rose homer of all time. Rose has undeniably outplayed Kobe this post season. James has had some great games with some bad games, just like Rose. Considering no one ever talks about how abjectly terrible James was in the 2007 Finals (seriously, look at the box scores--just wretched stuff), I don't necessarily agree that "THE MEDIA" is protecting Rose from criticism. There was a pretty damn heated discussion literally 5 minutes after the game ended on TNT.

    He gets a foul called on him or turns the ball over everytime he tries. Boozer had a pretty nice game for once. For the first time ever, I'm going to say Derrick hogged the ball too much. He needs to penetrate and kick or run a real offense. Usually that happens when Boozer gets the ball in the high post because he has no foot speed to beat his man. I can barely recall more than 1 or 2 plays all playoffs where we got Boozer cleanly established in the low post and had him score.

    Boozer had a few nice moments but mainly he was just hitting his little fall away J. He's still not mixing it up down low. We need to get his ass on the low block where he can bully people.

    Barkley's a wonderful entertainer but Webber's a better basketball mind. You could see him as an executive. Not so much with Chuck.

    Chris Webber was the only one making sense. Field goal attempts don't exist in a vacuum. This isn't baseball. It's actually a real team sport.

    Going to the PnR well time after time is something I've been harping on all season. Fact is, the Bulls were a mediocre offensive team all year, especially relative to their record. Webber knows what's up. Rose has to shoot. He's not [expletive] Russell [expletive] Westbrook.

    Sticking Korver in the game and just running him sideline to sideline off of screens for 2/3s of the shot clock was [expletive] stupid as hell. And Thibs kept going to it over and over. The other possessions we'd set some weak ass screen at the top for Rose and he'd try to create something while ATL sat in the paint. They were all over it. Stick Korver in the corner, spread the floor, stick Rose in ISO and let him create for others. It's a simple [expletive] game.
