    It wasn't Murphy that reported it. It was mentioned during top of the hour news I think. Murphy is talking like Theriot is still on the team.

    They talked to Hendry this morning and he said "Theriot will not be sent back to the minors." Theriot isn't going anywhere. I remember hearing that earlier too. That's why I was caught by surprise when they reported it.

    I was listening to the newa on the score, but not paying much attention. I heard them say "Theriot back to minors". Not sure if they were just suggesting or reporting?!

    So according to WGN/Kaplan Barrett was traded because Lou wanted him gone. Also, according to them couple of weeks ago Barrett walked into Lou's office and asked if he can close the door so they can talk. Barrett then told him that a lot of players are aware that they have been playing poorly and that it's their fault mostly for loosing, but that players are also getting angry/upset that Lou is not taking any responsibility. Lou didn't think he is responsible and that was the end of conversation. That was also the last straw in Barrett's tenure with Cubs.

    Is it online anywhere? Where did you see it? It was on CSN. It looked like he was about to cry, but he turned it into a fake laugh. Except when he was asked about Lou where he started with a laugh and then managed to get serious :)

    Yes. And I think that was totally Jeff Foster with him. I'm pretty sure that was Foster too.

    I think last night it was much worse that Jones bounced that ball 3-4 times than Barrett trying to catch it. Barrett had to rush and try to apply a tag.
