  1. lol, Sammy basically dropkicked him. He looked like someone who has never had to slide into home plate before. He seriously didn't know what to do, so he karate kicked him. Barajas should have stomped on his head.
  2. Yeah, I've been using the firefox adblock extension. I was just curious if there was an easier way. No offense to anyone, but I just don't need that stuff. Thanks for the help fellas. Hope the Cubs can stop being mediocre for a minute, if not I might be FORCED to find something better to do...
  3. ALright! You're all watching the same game, someone calm down a second and tell me if I can turn off avatars and signatures. Please.
  4. I really like flipping through this site and reading all of the opinions, but is their any way I can turn off the avatars and signatures on people's posts? It feels like I'm being spammed to death :/
  5. Fine, Adam DUnn can get on base, but if he's batting 5th, 6th, or 7th, who the hell is going to drive him in?
  6. OMG I CANT TRUST ANY OF YOU, YOU ARE ALL LYING AND TRYING TO TRICK ME/US IN SOME WAY, OMG LIARS.
  7. THis is next lineup 1.hariston 2.Lee 3.Dunn 4.Blanco 5.Barrett 6.Kearns 7.Ramirez 8.Nomar ....!!!!Cant wait!
  8. Wins do mean something. They do determine whether or not you're a HOFer, and each year, they play a large hand deciding who wins the cy young each year. If you care about those sorts of things I mean. I'd hate to see Kerry go, but if it would guarantee the Cubs would stop being mediocre to sucky every year, I'd be all good with it. I just wish I felt like Hendry had a real plan. Take Billy Beane for instance, whether people agree with his (and others) philosophies or not, dude knows how to build a consistent winner. Hendry seems like an awesome judge of talent, but just being a casual observer of baseball over 20 or so years, I'm not sure that just judging talent is what ultimately leads to building a winning ball club. ::unsure::
  9. Kind of had to see this coming. I wish I could say I was happy that we don't have to put up with all of this Sosa stuff on our side any more, but I seriously thought that getting rid of Sosa would lead to Hendry making the Cubs a much better team. Hendry didn't do much besides dump Sosa, and now the Cubs are painfully average. It's wasting all of our time to watch bad baseball.
  10. THose numbers seem strange to me. DO the Cubs not have ballots at Wrigley? He should have won by a wide margin if fans at games voted? How does this thing work, anyway?
