  1. I'll have to warn you not to turn the channel to TBS. Their playing great ever since they benched has beens like Brian Jordan and Raul Mondesi for the likes of Kelly Johnson, Ryan Langerhans and Jeff Francoeur. :) Let's see two are batting .232 and .244 with .326 obs and one is .406 with no walks. Let's check in one month.
  2. ESPN has vs. Right 9 0 2 1 0 0 1 1 0 5 0 0 .222 .273 .333 .606 Most of his strikeouts vs rightys. I want him to progress. People have to understand it is ok to put young players in the best situation. He is gaining confidence. It is the way it is done in business and sports. Saying that I expect he will see more playing time. It is not just Dusty it is the way the Cubs run their organization. Look, the best player will play over time. Cubs are getting decent production from LF and keeping the roster happy at the same time. I expect him to play more over the next month, baring a trade, vs RHP. Just my 2 cents
  3. I am talking about his defense. I am not asking you to change any opinion after one game. No one said Neifi lights the world on fire offenseivly. But, look around the league. He is in the middle of the pack. No way is his defense average. Here again is Ronnie strength is defense. I agree he looks good on defense but Neifi has been a gold glover and still looks to be.
  4. I disagree. We are not in the future we are in the present. Also, look at any other NL shortstop, Neifi is doing his job. BTW good news Florida just lost :D
  5. I cannot be sure Ronnie would bat higher then Neifi. He is like 5 for his last 9 and still has a .262 ave. Small sample size but it all counts.
  6. People haven't watched many games if you think Neifi has not been special on defense this year. I love how a rookie is "know" as a great defender before he steps on the field from the minors. I don't know how many times I saw on this board how Dubois was as good as Holla on defense. Keep dreaming or please watch some games objectively. I don't care if you don't like the guy but give me a break he has been rock solid on defense, no complaints
  7. A-Ram almost always bats clean up against a lefty and 5th against a lefty
  8. Great job by J-Will can't ask for much more, wimpy lineup or not
  9. what a bad move by Dusty to have a pitcher stay in for a quality start
  10. Maybe it has something to do with the splits against right hand hitters vs. Left 264 70 19 1 5 27 24 0 49 3 2 .265 .324 .402 .726 vs. Right 209 44 4 1 2 12 9 0 47 1 2 .211 .243 .268 .511 He also does not walk many right handers. Also, do you want rookies to come in and face one of the top aces in the game? (at least right handed rookies?)
