Yeah, I'll be rooting for the AL regardless in the WS. My order is Astros Red Sox Yankees Dodgers Brewers I get the Astros hate but for some reason I don't really have it. They've been in the AL for 6 years and were mediocre at best their last 7 years in the NL (08 at 86-75 was their only solid year). And they generally go out there and hit a lot of dongs. Any Astros haters here are just jealous fat babies. Present

Just read the post mortem on the Indians in the Athletic. Those poor people have had two years of trauma and didn’t win in 2016. It could be worse Cubs fans.

I never thought I would be rooting for a potential Yankees/Dodgers World Series. I want Houston to not repeat and I would rather have ISIS in the Series in place of the Brewers. I think you are going to get a Brewers/Astros WS

Trevor Bauer needs to play with drones again. What an awful performance. Two errors in the inning and the second could have got him out of the inning with a double play.

Pretty shocking seeing the garbage Wade Davis was throwing in our game that he just gave up two HRs to...squints...Orlando Arica and Keion Broxton.

The FO was very fortunate that pretty much everything they did during the rebuild especially deadline trades and the signing of Lester worked out. Like all things, it evened out a bit with the Quintana deal, Heyward, and the pitching signings this offseason. That being said, the Darvish deal may still work out but they lost a front year with the knowledge that the back end of that deal may be rough. Chatwood and Duensing were terrible signings and Heyward is a money pit so far. Morrow was a risk but the money was better than, say, Wade Davis and other closers.

Exactly. Passan can be good but sometimes a hack. Posted in the Maddon thread but it has been confirmed Joe is back next year for the final year on his deal.

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing him later in the game out with everyone, I could be mistaken though. Would Jon Lester even know how to use an iPad? I know he tweets, but I just have always figured his wife does it for him. I picture him with a flip phone or something. If it was Jon, I am not sure it was him [expletive] on his teammates. If anything, I think he is really pissed from a competitive standpoint of not staying in the game.

Someone in the dugout but not on the roster? Edwards? Freeman? Morrow? This was my thought. Everyone that came to mind that was on the roster didn't make sense either based on what we know about them or by game situation. Lester? He walked out when they pulled him.
