the weird thing is that it has completely collapsed since the trade. He wasn't good by any means before, but he at least caught some guys in Oakland(39/46 SB in 312 IP). Since he joined the Brewers runners are 22/22 in 194 IP. Too bad this lineup isn't exactly tailor made to run, but with that type of liability at the plate you could see any number of guys try in the right situation. Davies has had extremely few attempts though(1 SBA every 20 innings, 22% CS%), so I wonder if he's great at keeping guys close. John Jay’s boat anchor may be less of an issue tonight. Bryant is the best leadoff guy we have in the team. On another note, let’s make Davies work early as the bat boy may need to come in tonight as a relief pitcher.
