    My inner meatball still feels we got a lot of teams at their best point in the season. The Nats couldn’t make an out against us and two weeks prior. Now they suck To be fair, they were playing pretty poorly when we took 2 of 3 from them in Washington Thinking more second half with Giants and others.

    They bumped everyone back a game and added Gausman to the rotation for the rest of the year. Nice break for us, also means Gray goes vs the VBs in their series when they would’ve missed him (they also get Bauer or Castillo too in that one). Nice. Lined up against Darvish now which is also good.

    Yeah I definitely don’t think they did and probably a bad play by whatever defender touched him down (I think? I forget if “giving yourself up” to be down is a thing) Playing football at that altitude is a joke. Screw the Broncos.

    It wasn't roughing the passer, either. We got screwed on a couple calls. That’s a pretty big win. Good to see Mitch make a play and the kicker was nails.

    Just feels like we're in for a miserable slog of games where we have to hope for breaks or defensive scores to try to get to 11-5 and out by the second round. I've seen this season so many times. It's not just that Mitch is bad. It's that Nagy has completely given up on him. This playbook is NFL Universal Code for "I don't trust my QB please don't fire me." Mitch is bad. He had three downfield throws and airmailed all of them. Just reread what you wrote. Missed “just”

    The only issue is that this club hasn't really shown the ability to take care of business for any sort of stretch, except maybe that span right after the first road trip. Would be a nice time to do it again

    The Reds series is the one I’m worried about just because we get Gray and Castillo. Cards get the Nats big 3 though which is good. One of Hamels and Lester needs to not throw BP
