    Greenberg really hasn't been the same ever since that infamous HBP against the Marlins. It's a shame too...the kid seemed like a good kid and he was a pretty good player too. Hopefully he'll have good luck with whatever team picks him up. Weber gave up 5 1st inning runs, but Daytona's offense got 3 of them back in the bottom half of the 1st. Jake Fox had an RBI double, which scored 2. 5-3 Fort Myers, bottom 2. Peoria is scoreless through 2.

    Peoria wins 7-6 :) Campusano blew his first save (1st in 17 chances), but the offense picked him up by scoring a go-ahead run in the 8th on a play at the plate which Muyco was safe on.

    Jaxx game was suspended due to rain in the 2nd inning with the Jaxx trailing 1-0. Iowa up 4-3. Pie has 2 RBI single's in the game. Peoria now up 6-3. Norwood and Taylor have also homered for the Chiefs.

    Daytona wins 1-0! Holliman had a real good start going 7 IP and allowing only 3 hits on no runs, 2 walks, and 4 K's. Jon Hunton got his first win of the year by pitching a scoreless 8th and Mendez came on to get his 11th save. Daytona's lone run came in the 8th on an RBI double by Sam Fuld. Peoria leads 3-0 in the 3rd. Muyco hit his 2nd homer of the year, a 3 run shot, in the 2nd.

    haha, Walrond gives up yet another unearned run on the year. Iowa trails 1-0 in the 2nd. Pie batting 7th for the 2nd night in a row.

    Peoria loses the 1st game, 2-1 in 12. Taylor and Teasley combined for 9 scoreless innings until the 12th when Teasley gave up a solo shot with 1 out. Kane County's closer put Peoria down 1-2-3 in the bottom half to win it.

    Scott Taylor started the resumed 1st game of the doubleheader and is doing a great job so far. 4 IP, 3 hits, 0 BB's and 1 K for Scott. Unfortunately, Peoria's offense has only 1 hit through 5 (counting yesterday) and Kane County leads 1-0 in the bottom of the 6th.

    Neifi was booed at least twice last night. BUT BOOING HIM IS BAD AND IT HURTS HIS FEELINGS!!!!!11!!111!!ONE BOOING IS THE REASON THIS TEAM IS SO BAD, OMG THEY ARE TRYING SO HARD, THEY DON'T DESERVE IT!!!!!!!11111111111 back to the Neifi thing...I think this settles the case that he is one of, if not, the worst hitter in the league.

    I saw Brian Smith of NIU pitch against Akron. I remember that Akron won 6-5 and Smith gave up all 6 runs. and I found his profile on NIU's athletic site. http://niuhuskies.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/smith_brian00.html guy isn't that bad of a hitter for a pitcher, but that over 6 ERA is not that good.
