    40 pitches in 3 innings is exceptionally low pitch count. 13 pitches an inning is great. He's on pace for a 120 pitch complete game. Although it's doubtful he gets that, I wouldn't call that high or low. Exceptionally low would be under 10 per inning, something Maddux at his best and Lieber would do. High is over 16. Welcome back Mr. Ramirez. How about Rich Harden? 81-pitch complete game yesterday.
