  1. How is this possible? How can Dusty and the coaches be so oblivious to the fact that swinging at everything does not work unless you're Vladimir Guerrero. We are swinging at pitches that bounce all the way to the backstop and pitches that hit us. HELLO!!!! ANYONE HOME IN THE COACHING STAFF???!!!
  2. Barrett, Mabry, Pierzynski, and Anderson got ejected after Barrett punched Pierzynsky for slamming into him at the plate.
  3. As authentic as it is, it somehow looks doctored to me. Hill in the foreground almost completely oblivious to whats going on just seems so strange. If you look closely, Barrett hasn't thrown the punch yet. That was taken right before the brawl started.
  4. Here comes Neifi to kill the rally.
  5. Did....did Pierre actually get a hit there?
  6. Farnsworth needs to start a brawl in New York. I bet he wishes he wasn't missing out on the fun.
  7. rich hill extinguished it right away. don't worry there will be some carryover fire w/ z on the mound tomorrow. If Pierzynski is in the lineup tomorrow, Z needs to bean him.
  8. Where's the fire that this brawl was supposed to light under the Cubs' butts? :?
  9. That reminds me of Wood's Peoria rehab start. "And there's a pitch right down the middle for ball 4."
  10. White Sox universe. They're the defending World Champions, so they get better treatment and can do no wrong.
  11. Ouch. He DOES have a 4.70 ERA at home and a 6.65 ERA in the daytime this season.
  12. I feel sorry for Sing. I hope he starts picking it up soon.
  13. Here are the Cubs first three innings. 1st: Neifi Perez pops out to second. Neifi Perez strikes out. Neifi Perez grounds out softly to shortstop. 2nd: Neifi Perez strikes out. Neifi Perez strikes out. Neifi Perez pops out to catcher. 3rd: Neifi Perez strikes out. Neifi Perez strikes out. Neifi Perez strikes out. The whole team dies from food poisoning except for Neifi, so they have to clone him and have him play every position. Freddy Garcia pitches a perfect game in the White Sox infinity-0 win.
  14. The Cubs are 1-0 when Freddie Bynum hits a home run.
  15. This brings the combined number of second baseman in Chicago and Iowa to 5,823,629.
  16. 6 2/3 IP 6 K 2 BB 5 H 1 ER Cubs win 2-1 in extras.
  17. WOW OTIS89 HASN'T PITCHED IN A WHILE I'll be OK. Dude, giving up that two run home run in the first was not cool. Sorry. My bad. I won't let it happen again.
  18. WOW OTIS89 HASN'T PITCHED IN A WHILE I'll be OK.
  19. Mother Nature hates Scott Taylor. :( What did I ever do to mother nature? :? :P
  20. Hey! The rotation isn't very up-to-date. It still has Tobias as the current starter. It should be Flames24Rulz's turn.
  21. I will never watch any Sox games for the sole reason that Hawk and DJ are annoying homers and complete morons.
  22. Fire the whole bleeping coaching staff. It's perfectly obvious to everyone except Dusty and Hendry that they aren't doing their job. What kind of moron thinks Murton needs to be more aggressive? He's one of the few decent hitters we have!
  23. The Cubs have actually scored 30 runs in 13 games in May? Wow, that's actually higher than I thought. 30 runs in 13 games. 30 runs in 13 games . . . how'd we ever score 30? It's a miracle. That number is skewed by the Cubs fluke 8-run outburst against San Francisco. Take away that game and we've scored 22 runs in 12 games. And it appears bhogg beat me to it.
  24. To be fair, Bynum has only had a couple starts, although that's more than he should ever get.
