If Zambrano doesn't come out for the 9th..... it won't be Marmol taking his place, it'll be Dempster. I know but I would much rather see Marmol face Pujols then Dempster. true, but if it happens in the 9th, it's gonna be Z or Demp. Don't walk Mike Egypt.

Pretty old, well-discussed question. I believe there is some pretty good data that shows sliding slows you down, and should only be done to avoid the tag. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Does_sliding_into_a_base_make_you_reach_base_faster haha, this can't be legit
