    According to my TV guide, The late games (7:30 CT Weds and 9:30 CT Thurs) are for the ALCS and the NLCS are the earlier games...

    I wouldn't even consider pitching Jason Marquis or Ryan Dempster in the postseason. They had trouble getting the Louisville Bats out today and I don't wanna even think about what a few decent MLB teams could do to them. I only wanna see these guys if we have a big lead. Blast me if you must, but it's pretty clear that sending these guys out in the playoffs would be a huge mistake.

    NLDS is set to start on Wednesday. Games 3 and 4 are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday at Wrigley. Sorry, I've been drinking all day, so my brain is kinda mush, but, am I right in saying that regardless of how the other divisional/wildcard races play out, the Cubs will host games 3 & 4 on Saturday & Sunday, & that we'll be playing the NL West winner? If the Phillies or Mets win the NL East then we would play the East winner That can't be accurate, because those are the only two teams that can win the East. The first part of that statement is already 100% guaranteed to happen. It should say, if the Phillies and Mets both make the playoffs, we play the NL East winner.

    90-70 isn't lucky. Best team in the NL, isn't lucky. People have said that for months, still wrong. Now, who is pitching for you guys Game 1, 2, 3? Assuming we meet up. 1: Webb vs -- 2: Davis vs -- 3: No idea vs. -- That said, the DBacks have the Cubs' number, and I fear them more than the other potential playoff teams. I don't buy that they "have our number"... I'd easily prefer to play them... the Mets run too much for Gritty to handle and the Padres pitching is just too good. The Phillies should outhit us. Bring on whoever because we gotta beat the best anyway, but Arizona is by far my preference...
