  1. CubsGM, you got your ramdom Cubkiller of the week
  2. Epatt, Theriot, Lee, Aram have bat in every inning! :)
  3. Mines working fine Is it strangely dimensioned? I mean there's a black box around the actual picture, but that's normal for me. I assumed it has to do with my monitor being widescreen. I shouldn't be complaining, cause my picture's bigger than normal, just wider... no difference on full screen though
  4. Hey Truffle, think they get the Cubs game in tonight?
  5. It's Jon. And I forgot he was still on the team. Didn't watch the game last night?
  6. Me neither. In hindsight, with 2 out the worst Edmonds could have done was what Murton did, and Murton would have been available in the 9th, and I would have rather him than Cedeno or Blanco in that situation. Agreed, as I said in my original post.
  7. Skilling's got an ugly forecast on tap for today, I don't want the loss feeling in me another day, hopefully they get this in.
  8. The "incompetent guy" was batting .291 coming in, and over .300 vs lefties, it wasn't a terrible choice.
  9. http://www.coachingblunders.com/VideoDetail/tabid/55/Default.aspx?VideoID=243 Good lord
  10. Even though they couldn't complete the rally, I'm really proud of how the Cubs got back into that game. They had no business doing so against the O's best relievers but they were patient and got some timely hits. (Edmonds, wow) I would have let Edmonds bat against Sherril though just because he had been hot and had HRed off a lefty on Saturday, and Murton has been terrible but would have been a better option in the 9th. As far as the 9th, we ran into a bad spot in the lineup after we loaded the bases. Cedeno has been pretty bad lately, looking like the 2006 Ronny. That AB was one of the worst I've ever seen. Kosuke was just overmatched by a tough lefty, and after his AB I don't blame Lou for PHing Blanco, the only RH option he had left. If we had Lee/Ramirez coming up, I think we win last night. Hopefully they are pissed off and come out strong tonight.
  11. Now on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCvqGaHwJGY
  12. What a fun weekend http://media.putfile.com/Crosstown-Classic-2008 Hope you all like it, it's hard to make everyone happy with music choices, but hopefully most of you like it. AF
  13. Yay! 3 hits for DWard McGhee went 5-5
  14. Especially after this
  15. Both answers are in this thread, I guess no one got both without cheating Marshall against the Mets at Wrigley in 2006 (Cubs also gave up 11 runs in an inning) Fontenot last year in the Lilly ejection game @ ATL
  16. Since 2006, 3 Cubs have hit their first major league HR on Sunday Night Baseball. Besides obviously EPatt, name the other 2. Don't cheat. One should be easier, we'll see how long it takes.
  17. Holy Crap, Edmonds vs. Vasquez Good time for him to be hot.
  18. Vasquez has struggled lately Let's sweep! Remember the last time the Cubs were in position to sweep the Sox at Wrigley? Todd Walker's walk off walk... on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball. :) http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cs-040704cubssoxgamer,0,6994291.story
