If its not at Wrigley, it wont matter. September 7-9 in Pittsburgh. I know because I have tickets to all 3 games and planned a vacation around it. What an unfortunate decision... Should have gone up in late June like I did. Cubs managed 2 of 3 and the games actually mattered.

I honestly think he could be a Scott Podsednik type leadoff hitter if given the chance. I know a lot of people dont apreciate that type of thing, but sometimes, that "sparK" can be very important to a team, especially one that struggles to put runs on the board. I think an every day spot in the lineup would expose him as the mediocre hitter that he is. We don't need a left-handed Ryan Theriot.....we already have the right-handed one Left handed Theriot >>>>>>> Soriano right now

Lou said before the same that he was getting Marmol into the game no matter what because he hasn't worked all week. So if anything Lou is showing a lack of faith in the offense if he's burning his closer in the 8th inning of a 1 run game. Yeah, but if we get the lead you know who's coming in

Fuld should have played for Soriano. Hopefully that will be the case soon if Piniella's comments mean anything. What were those comments? It's Lou - what could it have been? "Soriano - he's uh-slumping right now. He could use some time off. And-uh the Fuld kid has a lot of energy and we'd like to give him some more playing time" or something like that
