Trevor Cahill is a really good pitcher guys, it's totally acceptable for the Cubs to be completely non-existent on offense. As I predicted before the Coors series, the Cubs SUCK on every NL West trip. What a disaster.

Would've been nice for Travis to finish the season strong. Still, overall a nice surprise amidst this terrible season I suppose. The Cubs HAVE to be tops in the league in giving runs back right after they score.

You do realize we have 6 games left against the other 2 terrible teams in the NL right? Win 4 of those, and we don't even have to worry about tomorrow or the Diamondbacks series. Oh yeah and we still have 3 outs to score at least one run today. I'm just not expecting much out of the road trip

How or why? His BABIP is only .020 off his career average. The rest of his other numbers are all inline with his career numbers (LD, GB, FB, HR/FB percentages) are within 1% +/- . The only thing he's doing more than 1% better than his career numbers is walking about 4% more than usual 12.5 v. 8.6. He is what he is. An okay backup option whose gonna hit somewhere between .220-.250 have an OBP around .300 and SLG around .350. Could've fooled me. Another clutch walk in a big spot.
