    I think it’s safe to say that this is the lowest point of Cubs baseball since 2014. Perhaps 2013 since ‘14 was actually a somewhat fun season.

    Indeed. Although in this game, we shouldn’t have expected much out of Adam Morgan and Kohl Stewart. Brothers was always pitching on borrowed time.

    Contreras is a GIDP machine. I’m not sure he’s beat one out since the Lester walkoff bunt game in 2016 when he beat one out to keep the game alive.

    During this losing streak, just about every aggressive base running play has turned out poorly for the Cubs. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything like it.
